The year 2021 is not that old yet, but quite a few smartphones have already hit the market. For a better overview, we have summarized the 8 best smartphones so far in the current year. These phones are the best for SNS addicts, photographers, or users who just want a good smartphone to play NetBet slots online.
1. Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra
The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra can do everything really well – at a correspondingly high price. However, it has now dropped by a few hundred dollars, which is why we see the top smartphone in our first place due to its extensive equipment.
It starts with the excellent OLED display with 120 Hertz and 1440p resolution, continues with the extraordinary quad camera with strong optical zoom, the powerful Exynos 2100 as a drive-in combination with a proud 12 GB of RAM and, unlike its predecessor, culminates in a strong one Battery with 5000 mAh and Qi charging coil for inductive charging – an all-round extraordinary package.
2. Oneplus 9 Pro
Our second place goes to the Oneplus 9 Pro in the second quarter of 2021. The flagship smartphone impresses us with its great design, top performance thanks to the Snapdragon 888, an excellent OLED display with 120 Hertz, a great camera with an excellent wide-angle, and a long-lasting battery.
Only the telephoto lens cannot compete with its counterpart in the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra in the first place, the rest is of comparable quality. The current model is definitely a good start to working with camera specialist Hasselblad – and it’s cheaper than the S21 Ultra.
3. Samsung Galaxy S20 FE
The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is the better choice than S21 and S21 Plus – not only when looking at the price. Because this is significantly lower at less than 500 dollars, and the S20 FE can’t do that much less. The display, performance, and camera in particular convinced us in the test.
If you want 5G, you have to go for the slightly more expensive version, but it also offers another advantage: A Snapdragon chip from Qualcomm is used as the CPU, which is not only more powerful than its Exynos counterpart but also less power-hungry. The rest is the same except for 5G.
4. Xiaomi Mi 11
The Xiaomi Mi 11 made improvements in exactly the right places where the predecessor still had something to complain about. Two things are excluded from this: the battery is even a bit weaker than the powerful power pack of the Mi 10 and instead of a telephoto lens there is again only a macro camera. Apart from that, the Mi 11 is incredibly fast, has a great OLED display, is chic, and is now fairly priced at just over 700 dollars.
5. Oppo Find X3 Pro
Oppo does not make it easy for us: The Oppo Find X3 Pro is a really good smartphone, but we still don’t understand Oppo’s pricing. The model currently costs around 1050 dollars – more than the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra! That is simply too much, especially for a manufacturer that hardly anyone in this country knows. That being said, the company does a good job with the smartphone.
We were impressed by the chic design, the great display, a lot of memory, the unbridled power thanks to the Snapdragon 888 and the camera. There, however, only main and wide angles, which are almost on par in terms of quality, as well as the video mode. Unfortunately, the telephoto lens cannot keep up and the so-called microscope camera is a nice gimmick, but can hardly be used in everyday life.
6. Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro
Now comes a tough cut – at least when it comes to the price. The fairly new Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro costs just under 300 dollars, but it has a lot to offer. This makes the mid-range smartphone an absolute price-performance recommendation, and this is exactly why the device appears in the midfield of our top 10 best smartphones in 2021.
The device scores with an excellent display, not only in the middle class, a great main camera with 108 megapixels, a stylish design, and a strong battery. In terms of performance, of course, it does not come close to top models, but the Note 10 pro still cuts a really good figure in everyday use.
7. Oppo Reno 4 Pro 5G
Oppo again – and rightly so, especially since the Oppo Reno 4 Pro 5G is significantly cheaper than the Find X3 Pro. The manufacturer is currently charging around 470 dollars for the Reno 4 Pro, which of course means that the technology is a bit weaker than the top model.
The good OLED display only offers a refresh rate of 90 Hertz and “only” a Snapdragon 765G serves as the drive instead of the latest top chip. But the model scores with a lot of memory, namely 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory. The camera is also really good – especially in decent lighting conditions.
8. Vivo X51 5G
Vivo hits the same line as Oppo – or makes the same mistake depending on the angle of view: Despite being unknown in Germany, both manufacturers are very self-confident in the pricing of their smartphones. With the Vivo X51 5G, this happens in some respects for good reason.
The smartphone scores with a good OLED display with 90 Hertz, a great gimbal camera, and correspondingly good night recording quality as well as with a stylish design, lots of memory (8/256 GB), and a strong battery. For the high price, however, some things are missing, such as wireless charging and water resistance, so that it is not enough for a higher place in our top 10 best smartphones in 2021.
