How To Fix TikTok Analytics Not Showing (Quickly)

I am a person who wants to know every detail of the process I’ve made. So I upgraded my TikTok account to a business account to see the exact details of my account’s growth. The only downside was having to wait seven days to see my information.

The analytics feature is highly beneficial if you want to monitor your TikTok account’s growth. It’ll even show you how many followers you’ve gained or lost recently.

If TikTok analytics are not showing up, ensure you have had a TikTok business account for at least seven. Also, ensure that you are connected to the internet, your TikTok app is up to date, and that your content is not under view by TikTok. All of these things can prevent your analytics from showing.

In rare cases, it’s necessary to wait on support from TikTok. However, the steps I’ll walk you through below will likely help you fix the problem immediately.

TikTok Analytics

If you have a TikTok Business Account, the analytics page will give you detailed information about your account’s performance. It is an incredible tool to help you gauge the growth of your account.

The Analytics feature on TikTok will show you:

  • The number of views your content has received.
  • How many views your profile has received.
  • The total playtime, comments, likes, and shares for specific videos.
  • How many new followers do you have, or how many you’ve lost.

And these are only to name a few. The feature gives much more helpful information.

To gain these insights, go to Profile > Manage My Account > Switch to Business Account to change your account type.

TikTok Analytics Not Showing 2022

TikTok Analytics Not Showing 2022

If your TikTok analytics are not showing up, it’s most likely because your account is still a personal account. You need to change your account type to a business account to view your analytics.

Additionally, you must have a business account for at least seven days before your account data will be displayed.

How To Fix TikTok Analytics Not Showing Up

If you have had your TikTok Business Account for more than seven days and you still don’t see your profile’s analytics, several things could be happening. Follow the troubleshooting steps below to determine the cause and how to fix the issue.

1. Check The Server Status

If TikTok’s servers go down, you will not see your analytics until they are back up.

The simplest way to check TikTok’s server status is by using DownDetector. This website will show you the current status of the servers and the number of outages that have been reported within 24 hours.

You can also try to report the outage to TikTok by:

  1. Go to the profile tab.
  2. Tap the menu tab.
  3. Tap Settings and Privacy.
  4. Tap Report a Problem.

Unfortunately, this feature generally doesn’t work when the servers are down, so it isn’t the best method.

In addition, TikTok server crashes have become so common that you can search #TikTokDown on Twitter to see if the servers have gone down.

2. Check the Internet Connection

If you can’t load your analytics, there’s a good chance it’s because of your internet connection. TikTok has to have a connection to the internet to show up-to-date information about your account.

Try using a different app that uses an internet connection. Your internet is the issue if the other app is also functioning incorrectly.

If your device is connected to wifi, you can reboot your router by unplugging it from its power source for 60 seconds. This will likely fix the problem if you have mild issues with your wireless connection.

If rebooting the router doesn’t fix the problem with your network, your provider may be experiencing an outage. Consider switching to cellular data until your WiFi is working again.

Turning on Airplane Mode for 15 seconds will often restore a lost connection if you’re using cellular data or a WiFi connection on your device.

3. Close and Relaunch Tik Tok

If the servers are not down, you may just need to refresh the app. You can do this by closing the app (completely) and relaunching it. If you just go back to your home screen, the app will still run in the background.

To completely close the app on an Android device, swipe down twice from the top of your screen, tap Number of Active Apps, locate TikTok, and tap Stop.

To close running apps on an iPhone, swipe up and to the right from the bottom of the screen. Then, locate TikTok and slide the tab up to close it.

4. Clear Cache and Cookies

Clearing the cache and cookies that the app has stored on your device can also fix issues with viewing your analytics. The data can build up and cause the app, or your device, to malfunction.

You must clear the cache and cookies from the app and device settings. That way, you are sure to remove all temporary data that TikTok has stored away.

To clear the cache in the app:

  1. Launch your TikTok app.
  2. Tap your profile tab in the bottom right corner of your screen.
  3. Tap the menu tab. (Three dots/horizontal lines in the top right corner)
  4. Tap Settings and Privacy.
  5. Tap clear cache.
  6. Double-check to make sure the number changes to zero.

Once you’ve completed the steps above, move on to clearing the cache and cookies in your device settings.

To clear TikTok’s cache and cookies from an iOS device,go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage > TikTok > Offload App > Reinstall App.

To clear TikTok’s cache and cookies from an Android device, go to Settings > Apps > TikTok > Storage > Clear Cache.

Once you’ve cleared all the stored data from your device, it’s best to restart your device to refresh it entirely.

5. Restart your Device

Restarting your device will also clear any data in your RAM that could be bogging it down and causing your apps to malfunction. If your device is overloaded, it could cause you to be unable to see your analytics.

To restart an Android device:

  1. Hold the power button until the menu pops up.
  2. Tap power off. Using the restart option is not recommended in this case.
  3. Wait 60 seconds before powering back on.

To restart an iOS device:

  1. Hold the lock and volume up buttons until the screen changes.
  2. Slide the toggle to the right to power the device off.
  3. Wait 60 seconds before powering it back on.

6. Re-Login To TikTok

Once you clear the cache, you’ll likely need to log back into your account when you go back into the app. If your analytics are not showing up, they probably will after logging back in.

If you are still logged into your account, logging on and back in will refresh your data. Once the data has been refreshed this way, you should be able to view your analytics.

7. Update Tik Tok App

If your TikTok app isn’t up to date, the dated app version may experience different glitches that could prevent you from seeing your analytics. In addition, the feature may not even be available for the version you’re running, depending on how long it’s been since you’ve updated the app.

To see if your app is up to date:

  1. Open the App Store (iOS) or the Google Play Store (Android) from your device.
  2. Find the search bar and search for TikTok.
  3. Select TikTok from the results.
  4. Look for an option that says Update. If you have this option, it means you don’t have the current app version.
  5. Tap Update to install the current app version.

Once the update has been installed, you’ll likely be able to view your analytics. You may even notice that other glitches have been removed in the new version of the TikTok app.

8. Uninstall and Reinstall the TikTok App

If you’ve tried the steps above and your analytics still aren’t showing up, you’ll need to delete TikTok and reinstall it.

Some corrupt data may not be cleared when you clear the cache. To remove this data, the app must be uninstalled from your device. Once you reinstall the app, it will likely be free of these errors.

9. Check Through a Browser (Mobile or Desktop)

Sometimes, apps will have bugs that you’ll have to wait for updates to fix. If there is an issue with the app, you can work around it to see your analytics by using a browser such as Firefox, Chrome, Safari, etc.

Many find viewing their analytics from a desktop browser is more straightforward than using the app or mobile browser.

To check your analytics from your desktop browser:

  1. Go to Tiko let them to
  2. Login to your account.
  3. Click on your profile in the top right corner of your screen.
  4. Click view analytics.

The steps will be very similar to those above if you are using a mobile browser to view your analytics.

If you can’t see your analytics data on the browser, it’s most likely an issue with TikTok. In this case, you will have to check later to see if they’ve resolved the problem.

10. Your TikTok Video is Under Review

If TikTok isn’t showing analytics for a new video you’ve recently uploaded, the video may be under review. If your video is under review, it is not yet being played on the platform, and there will not be data for it until it is.

TikTok will automatically place videos under review if the automated system detects things that could be offensive, nudity, or other things that go against their Community Guidelines

Once a video has been placed under review, the only thing you can do is wait it out. However, if it stays under review for an extended period, you can contact TikTok support for more information.

11. Your Content Doesn’t Get Past TikTok’s Algorithm

TikTok’s algorithm prioritizes content that gets more engagement. If you don’t see analytics for your content, your content may not be receiving attention from the algorithm. Unfortunately, this means that TikTok isn’t showing your content to many users.

You could always have friends and family who have had their TikTok account for a while share, like, or comment on your videos to help boost your algorithm. Just be sure they don’t overdo it. If they do, it will hurt more than it helps.

TikTok will also shadowban your account if your content appears to be spam or violates any of their guidelines. To avoid being shadowbanned, ensure that you post trendy, original, and engaging content to your profile.

12. Contact Support

If you’ve made it this far, it may be time to contact TikTok’s support team. You have a couple of options for how you want to do this.

The first option is to email and explain your issue in depth. You should include the email/phone number on your account, specific details of the problem, and the best email for them to contact you after the request has been reviewed.

Additionally, you can Report a Problem in your TikTok app. To do this:

  1. Go to your profile.
  2. Tap the three dots/three horizontal lines to select the menu tab.
  3. Tap Settings and Privacy.
  4. Tap Report a Problem.
  5. Include specifics about the problem, the email/phone/username associated with your account, and the email they can use to follow up in the message.

The Analytics feature on TikTok gives you insights that significantly help you manage the growth of your account. Being able to see the information offered by this feature is essential, especially if you’re using the account to grow your business or in an effort to monetize your TikTok account.

Hopefully, I’ve given you the fix you needed. However, sometimes the only option is to wait it out or contact support.
