OnlyFans Verification Not Working (Simple Solution)

As technology advances, so do the skills of hackers. They can use your information to do just about anything, including signing up for random websites and subscriptions. When you sign up with OnlyFans, they now require you to go through an Email verification process.

This process has you sign in to your Email to verify that it actually belongs to you and that you’re trying to sign up to OnlyFans as a creator. However, my friend had an issue with their Email verification not working, so I did some digging.

The number one reason why you haven’t received your verification is that it may be in your junk folder. If you’re still seeing the red warning notifying you that you haven’t verified your email, then you may have to request a new Email verification, try signing up with a different Email, or even delete and recreate your account.

Since you have to verify your Email in order to get any further in the account creation process, it may be frustrating to not be able to do so. This article is going to go over everything I found as to how to identify and fix the issue of your OnlyFans verification not working

OnlyFans Verification Not Working

Check Your Junk Folder

It’s not uncommon for Email verifications to end up in junk folders. Because of the nature of the Email and where it came from, your Email service may flag it as being spam, so it will automatically go into your junk folder unless you mark it as not spam. Once you do that, those emails won’t go into your spam folder anymore.

Request A New Verification Email

If it’s been a few hours since you requested the first Email verification, it may be time to request a new one. It’s not going to cause an issue with signing up. If anything, you’ll just end up with a few verification Emails in your mailbox. To request a new verification email, follow these steps:

  1. Tap on your Profile icon
  2. Click on Settings
  3. Tap on Account
  4. Click on your Email
  5. Choose “Send Confirmation”

If this doesn’t work, you may have to try a new Email address. There’s no explanation as to why this works sometimes, but I believe it may be due to a bug within your Email provider.

Try Using A Different Email Address

As aforementioned, using a different Email address can sometimes solve the issue at hand. It’s possible that there has been an issue with your Email. I suggest using a different Email address from a different service.

If you use Gmail, try an Email address from Yahoo or Outlook. If you don’t have another email address, you can easily create one just for your On;y Fans account.

If you need to create a new Gmail account, here’s how:

  1. Navigate to the Google Account creation age
  2. Follow the steps on the screen to set up the account
  3. Use this account to sign into Gmail

For Yahoo:

  1. Go to the Sign-Up page
  2. Enter your information into the required field
  3. Click Continue and follow the prompts you see to verify your mobile phone number

For Outlook:

  1. Go to the Outlook Sign Up Page
  2. Choose an account name and password
  3. Enter required details
  4. Verify that you’re a human

Once you do this, you can move on to signing up for OnlyFans as a creator again. Here’s how to do so:

  1. Go to your Profile
  2. Select More
  3. Click on Log out
  4. Once you’re logged out, continue with the signup process using the newly created Email address
  5. Once you create your account, look for the verification email once again

Delete Your OnlyFans Account & Create A New One

If you don’t want the hassle of having two Email addresses, you can delete your current OnlyFans account and create it all over again using the same Email.

Sometimes when you do this, it clears out any bugs that may be lingering in the system that could have compromised your signup process.

Here’s how to delete your account:

  1. Click on your Profile icon
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Click on Account
  4. Tap on Delete Account
  5. Enter the verification code that shows up
  6. Tap on Delete Account again

Now that you’ve deleted your account, you can create a new one using the same Email address you used the first time. You will follow the same steps to create the account as you did the first time. Hopefully, the verification code will appear in your Email this time.

Wait A Few Hours For OnlyFans Servers To Catch Up

There are literally billions of people using the internet on any given day. Hundreds of thousands of these people may be trying to use OnlyFans. When this happens, the servers can become overloaded, which can result in your Email being delayed. Creating another account won’t solve this problem.

You should check out OnlyFan’s current system status on Downdetector. This website will tell you whether or not OnlyFans servers are having an issue. It’ll also tell you what particular issues certain percentages of people are experiencing and at what times.

If you see there’s an issue with the servers, it’s almost certain to be the reason why you’re not receiving your verification Email.

If there’s an issue with OnlyFans, you’ll have to wait for their servers to catch up to all the traffic. This could take minutes, hours, or even days if there’s a big enough issue. Keep checking Downdetector to see if there are still server issues. Once it’s cleared up, you can try to create the account again or resend the verification Email.

OnlyFans SMS Verification Not Sending Troubleshooting

Turn Off Airplane Mode

If you’ve signed up for OnlyFans and are having an issue with SMS verifications, check to see if Airplane Mode is turned on.

If Airplane Mode is turned on, you can’t receive or send SMS messages. So if your verification is coming through your text messages and your Airplane Mode is turned on, you won’t receive them.

If your phone has a quick menu, open it up and toggle Airplane Mode off. On new Samsungs, it will be an airplane icon located in the dropdown bar from your main screen.

On iPhones, iPads, and iPods, it will be in your Control Center. If you see that Airplane Mode is toggled on, this may very well be your problem. Toggle it off and the issue should be resolved.

Contact Support

If you just can’t get your OnlyFans verification to send, you may have to reach out to customer support. The issue could be as simple as an incorrect number or email or there’s a bug linked to your app’s codes.

To contact OnlyFans customer support, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the OnlyFans website and try to log in using your Email and password
  2. Since you can’t verify the code on your account, you will get the option to contact support
  3. Click on the prompt and tell them the verification code is not arriving on your device
  4. OnlyFans will then create a ticket
  5. Wait 2-5 business days for a response

Enable An Authenticator App Instead

If you’ve been able to log into your account after contacting OnlyFans support, I recommend you use an Authenticator App to get the verification code needed to get into your account.

This is the method you should use to avoid any SMS code problems in the future. The apps will be linked to your device and not your phone number, so it’s easier to resolve code-related issues.

To enable the authenticator for mobile devices, use this method:

  1. Go to your Google Account
  2. Tap on the Security tab at the top
  3. Under Signing into Google, tap on 2-Step verification
  4. Under Authenticator App, click on Set up
  5. Follow on-screen prompts

Turn Off Your VPN

If you have a VPN active on your device, it can mess with your SMS codes. Before you try to sign in to your OnlyFans, turn off any VPN service you have on your device and try to sign in again.

The issue with a VPN is that it essentially reroutes your IP address to make it look like you’re somewhere else. If OnlyFans picks up on this, it can confuse the servers and may result in messages not being sent or received.

Conclusion

I hope that these troubleshooting methods have helped you get into your new OnlyFans account. Sometimes it’s as small as a faulty Email address and other times it can be a bug within the codes of your app.

If you’re having persistent issues, don’t hesitate to reach out to customer support. They understand how important it is to you to get your new account up and running.
